Belarusian cigarettes for more than 600,000 euros found in Lithuania in a car with rubble

On January 21, Lithuanian border guards and Lithuanian Railway security officers checked a freight train at Kedainiai station. The train arrived from Belarus, and the border guards had information about the possible movement of smuggled goods.

They found boxes of cigarettes in one of the cars with rubble . In total, 175 thousand packs of Fest and Minsk Capital QS cigarettes with Belarusian excise stamps were seized. The cost of the party, together with taxes, is estimated at about 626,5 thousand euros. An investigation has been initiated, the State Border Guard Service of Lithuania reports.
