Hajun Project published a situation report on military activity on the territory of Belarus as of 22:00 April 5.

Russian Armed Forces columns continue to move on the territory of Belarus (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.). The convoys mainly consist of Ural and KamAZ trucks. There are also fuel trucks, armored vehicles of various modifications, armored security vehicles, etc. Transportation of missiles for Iskander missile system was spotted in one of the columns.

We can see the following main routes of the columns:

  • Naroulya- Yelsk- Mazyr;
  • Mazyr- Kalinkavichy;
  • Babruisk- Asipovichy;
  • Mogilev- Orsha;
  • Border with Ukraine — Gomel;
  • Kalinkavichy- Gomel;
  • Zhlobin-Gomel.

Movements of military equipment columns still take place in the southeastern districts of the Gomel region. Thus, we can conclude that there is no talk about the complete withdrawal of the Russian Armed Forces from Belarus. At the moment, we can observe the rotation of the units withdrawn from Ukraine.

There were also convoys with fighting vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces. For example, trailers carrying 203-mm 2S7 Pion self-propelled artillery were seen on the Gomel-Babruisk route. As of 18:30, April 5, the convoy was moving towards Minsk.

Flight activity at military airfields and airports in Belarus was also recorded: in Baranavichy (15 departures, incl. training flights of the Air Force of Belarus/ 17 landings, incl. 3 IL-76 transport aircraft); in Lida (landing of An-12 transport aircraft); in Gomel (landing and departure of IL-76 transport aircraft); Machulishchy (4 departures, incl. Tu-134 passenger aircraft/5 landings, incl. 4 IL-76 transport aircraft). In addition, scheduled training flights of military aviation of the Armed Forces of Belarus took place in Machulishchy during the day.

The movement of Russian Armed Forces equipment by rail continues. For example, military equipment, which was seen on April 4, departed from the railway station in Kalodzishchy (Minsk District). Also, a cluster of vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces was seen at the Pukhavichy railway station. Later, the loading of equipment on the railway platforms was recorded at the station. Cluster of military equipment was spotted at the Kozenki railway station, and more equipment was brought to the station. Most likely, formation of an echelon will begin at night. Also, a train with military equipment was moving from Yelsk.

No strikes with tactical missile systems against Ukraine were recorded.

We received an interception of communications between pilots of helicopters of the Russian Air Force and ground control service of the Gomel district area. We can conclude from the recording that one of the aircraft from the group of helicopters of the Russian Air Force escaped, presumably to Ukraine. However, it is not yet known exactly where the aircraft flew to.

Simultaneous switching off of all meteo radars was recorded on the territory of Belarus. The probable reason is the turning on of new military radars.

It was reported that a funeral of the murdered officer could take place in Mazyr (Gomel region). A blue minibus with tinted windows and policemen with flowers and wreaths were seen near the Mazyr KGB department. A Toyota Land Cruiser with the identification mark «V» was also seen there.

Movements of Belarusian Armed Forces units were also recorded. For example, about 60 units of equipment were being loaded on platforms at the Palonka railway station (Baranavichy district, Brest region). Later, this train was seen in Zhitkavichy, Kalinkavichy, and Khoiniki (Gomel Region). It is known that the units of the 11th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus (Slonim) were presumably moving to Khoiniki to rotate the units on the reinforcement of the state border.

We continue to receive information about the use of the Belarusian Armed Forces equipment for the transportation of Russian military equipment.
