This is reported by the Belarusian Sports Solidarity Fundciting the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadym Gutzeit. According to him, more than 100 international sports federations and associations have already imposed restrictions.

  • Olympic sports – 48 sanctions;
  • Non-Olympic sports – 69 sanctions;
  • General – 2 sanctions;
  • Paralympic sports – 12 sanctions;
  • Deaflympic sports – 2 sanctions;
  • Disability sports – 1 sanction.

As for sanctions in sports disciplines, the situation is as follows:

Hockey (IIHF): Exclusion of Belarus and Russia from the World Hockey Championships in 2022 and 2023.

Basketball (FIBA): Exclusion of Belarusian and Russian male teams from the 2023 World Cup selections and a ban on holding tournaments under the auspices of FIBA in Belarus and Russia.

Tennis (ITF): Depriving Belarus and Russia of membership in the International Tennis Federation and suspending national teams from the Davis Cup, the Billie Jean King Cup and the Wimbledon tournament.

Karate (WKF): Suspension of Belarusian and Russian athletes and officials from international competition.

Taekwondo (ITF): Banning athletes from Belarus and Russia from competing in the European Championships in this discipline.
