Belarus and Latvia hold meetings on arms control issues. Representatives of the defense ministries of the two countries met in Latvia.

The parties are reviewing the implementation of the agreement of March 5, 2004, on additional confidence and security-building measures. Proposals to improve the effectiveness of the measures will be discussed, and bilateral cooperation on arms control will be agreed upon, the Defense Ministry’s press service reports.
