Beltelecom received a cellular communication license

The Ministry of Communications has made changes to the license of Beltelecom.

«On January 17, 2022, the company received the right to provide cellular mobile telecommunication services,» the ministry said in a statement.

The press service explained that Beltelecom’s entry into the mobile communications market will accelerate the solution of the digital inequality in access to modern services of the urban and rural population. The license will also allow the company to provide popular convergent services, which include stationary and mobile communications in one package.

Beltelecom will use the existing LTE network of the infrastructure operator beCloud. Prior to this, MTS, A1 and life:) operators could provide cellular services to the population in Belarus.
