Early voting at the referendum begins in Belarus

Today, early voting for the referendum on the draft constitution begins in Belarus. It will be held on February 22-26. The main voting date for the plebiscite is February 27.

In total, there are 5,510 polling stations in Belarus. This time, the Central Election Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not create polling stations abroad in the embassies.

During the early voting period, polling stations are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a break from 2 to 4 p.m.

The police are going to guard the polling stations around the clock. On Monday, the law enforcers are turned into a reinforced service mode.
