The trials of political prisoners, activists of the anarchist movement Revolutionary Action, coordinator of Viasna human rights center Marfa Rabkova and a volunteer of Viasna Andrei Chepyuk were held today. They were sentenced to 5 — 17 years, Viasna reports.
The closed trial lasted 4,5 months. The verdicts were announced by judge Sergei Khripach on September 6. They coincided with those requested by the prosecutor Roman Bizyuk.
Aliaksandr Frantskevich – 17 years in a colony and a fine of 700 base rates (22,400 Belarusian rubles, or more than $8,800);
Akichira Hayeuski-Khanada – 16 years in a colony and a fine of 700 base rates (22,400 Belarusian rubles, or more than $8,800);
Marfa Rabkova – 15 years in a colony and a fine of 700 base rates (22,400 Belarusian rubles, or more than $8,800);
Aliaksei Halauko – 12 years in a colony and a fine of 700 base rates (22,400 Belarusian rubles, or more than $8,800);
Pavel Shpetny, Mikita Dranets, Aliaksandr Kazlianka, Andrei Chapyuk – six years in a colony and a fine of 500 base rates (16,000 Belarusian rubles, or more than $6,300);
Andrei Marach and Daniil Chul — 5 years in a colony and a fine of 500 base rates (16,000 Belarusian rubles, or more than $6,300).

The trial was held behind closed doors. Political prisoners were accused of organizing, leading or participating in anarchist groups: Revolutionary Action, National Self-Defense, Revolutsiyna Diya, and were tried for the events of 2016-2020.
At the same time, the Internet resources of the mentioned groups were recognized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs as extremist formations on November 2, 2021, that is, 8-15 months after the arrest of all ten defendants in the case. Despite this, they were accused of «creation and participation in an extremist formation.»
Azaryonok came to the trial to make fun of people

After the «trial,» the security forces arrested several relatives of political prisoners and human rights activist Nasta Loika. In addition, EY diplomats were arrested. Eyewitnesses claim that an odious propagandist Grigory Azaryonok came to the «trial.»
In his typical manner, he was bothering and provoking people. After the security forces arrested the diplomats, Azaryonok was filming the arrested diplomats, laughing and asking, «How is it?»
