On the site near Minsk, where it was originally planned to build a shopping center, motel and other facilities, a residential quarter can be built. The contractor is a company owned by Dmitry Baskov and which previously built a village where there were problems with communications for several years.
The company Retorsia Trade LLC a few years ago received a building plot between the Minsk Ring Road and the village of Tarasovo. In 2018, Dmitry Baskov and Andrei Yakimchik received a share in the company, since then the project has seriously «impoverished» and now they plan to build a residential quarter with low, medium and multi-storey buildings on the territory.
Initially, the plans included an entertainment center of 2000 square meters, a motel of 1657 square meters, a service station of 2526 square meters and a store with warehouses with a total area of 14605 square meters — this is no longer in the documents agreed by Lukashenka’s decree.
There are questions to the houses that are planned to be erected. In the early 10s, Retorsia Trade LLC had already built a townhouse complex Dobrodeevo near Tarasovo, to which residents had many complaints about the quality of construction, connection to water supply and sewerage networks.
The contractor didn’t put the utility networks into operation. Residents of 128 houses had constant jumps in electricity, which is why home appliances burned down many times, there were problems with water supply and sewerage. People haven’t had street lighting in the entire village for several months.
To solve the problem, residents were forced to burn fires along the roads in order to somehow illuminate the streets. All this happened in an elite residential quarter.
Yesterday, on June 25, a notice appeared on the website of the Minsk Executive Committee about the public discussion on the change/development of the general plan of the village of Tarasovo. It will be held from 6 to 30 July, but apparently in electronic format.
