The UK imposed sanctions against JSC Agat — Electromechanical Plant. This information is published in the notice of the Office for the Implementation of Financial Sanctions of the Treasury of the United Kingdom.
Agat — Electromechanical Plant produces radio relay stations, mobile communication centers, mobile points of automated control of aircraft, mobile command posts of the operational-tactical command of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces.
But JSC Agat — Electromechanical Plant is only one of the enterprises of the holding Geographic Information Control Systems. The parent company of the holding is OJSC AGAT-management systems, and it would be more logical to impose sanctions against it.
In total, the structure of the holding includes 5 enterprises, each of which performs its part of the work on the production of military equipment.
Earlier, the enterprise of OJSC AGAT-System also fell under the UK sanctions, but on July 9 it was excluded from the sanctions list without explanation.
