Lukashenka starts supplying products to occupied Mariupol. This comes out from the words of the head of the so-called “DNR” Denis Pushilin to propagandist Kseniya Lebedeva.
Pushilin said that there are already contacts with Belarus about “business and commercial component.” According to him, there are supplies from Belarus to Mariupol and vice versa. He stressed that “DNR” is interested in cooperation with Belarus in agriculture, metallurgy, coal products, supply of fertilizers, MAZ machines, tractors and excavators.
In addition, Pushilin said that the Belarusian side is ready to be involved in the restoration of the city, now these proposals are being worked out.
What other signs of the increasing cooperation between Minsk and Mariupol are there?
Frequent visits to the occupied territories by Lukashenka’s supporters are also evidence to the increasing cooperation between Minsk and Mariupol.
At the end of May, propagandist Svetlana Karulskaya, a correspondent of ONT in Moscow, went there and released her story on May 22. On June 9, a delegation of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus arrived in Mariupol with its head Oleg Gaidukevich. On June 15, Belarusian propagandists (two of them are under the EU sanctions) Lyudmila Gladkaya, Ksenia Lebedeva, and Grigoriy Azaryonok, as well as BELTA correspondent Andrei Voropai, arrived there.
