The publication Nasha Niva drew attention to the strangeness of the Belarusian COVID-statistics, which are published every day by the Ministry of Health of Belarus. The publication noted that the number of tests conducted doesn’t affect the number of detected cases of COVID-19.

Miracles of COVID-statistics: tests are increasing, but the number of patients doesn’t change

Yesterday, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus reported a record number of tests conducted per day — 59,920, which revealed 1,998 cases of COVID-19. At the same time, over the past week, the record number of COVID-19 cases was 2,097, with 38,789 tests conducted in a day.

Thus, there is no correlation between the number of tests and the number of COVID-19 cases identified, according to official statistics.

We remind there’s the 4th wave of the COVID-19 epidemic in Belarus, the most severe of all time. Intensive care units and morgues are full, and measures to stop the spread of the virus are not actually taken: schools, kindergartens, businesses, entertainment facilities and catering work in a regular mode, nothing but fear for their own health and responsibility for others, doesn’t stimulate people to be vaccinated and wear masks. The announcement of the need to do this in the midst of the 4th wave disappeared from public places by order of Lukashenka. Doctors who left Belarus because of repressions believe that the real figures for morbidity and mortality exceed the official statistics of the Ministry of Health by dozens of times.
