What the hell?
The reason why the advertisements about the need to wear masks in mass gathering areas are removed quickly now, apparently, lies in the statement of Lukashenko. Last week, he verbally ordered the abolition of the mask regime, reprimanding the Interior Minister for intending to fine people without masks:
«I warned you. Do you have nothing to do? Why are you breaking the law? We don’t have a law like that. Who are you playing along with? […] You made a lot of noise throughout the country. I think the governors have heard us. And then I see as they have already begun to fine people in Brest, and by force make people get vaccinated. I asked you not to allow this!»
«Governors» have really heard, first of all — the Minsk City Executive Committee, which yesterday ordered to remove all the stickers about the mask regime from public places and transport. Letters were sent to Minsktrans, shops and the capital’s public catering. However, stickers disappear even from clinics, where it would seem to be impossible.
