Belarus drops six positions in Transparency International Corruption Index

Belarus dropped six positions in the corruption perception index in 2021 and now ranks 82nd, according to the website of the international non-governmental organization Transparency International.

Belarus scored 41 points out of 100 possible and is on the 82nd position in the ranking of 180 countries, sharing it (including by the number of points) with Trinidad and Tabago and East Timor. South Sudan ends the list with a difference of 28-30 points compared to Belarus, Syria and Somalia. Belarus is 47 points ahead of Denmark (it is in the first position of the rating of countries).

In 2020, Belarus scored 43 points in the ranking, in 2019 — 47.
