Aviation activity

  • As part of the joint Belarusian-Russian tactical flight exercises, the redeployment of aviation units to operational airfields (both in Belarus and Russia) was practiced.
  • During the day, there was high aviation activity all over Belarus. Airfields of the Belarusian Air Force in Machulishchy, Baranavichy and Lida were involved. Also, Orsha airport (Balbasava airfield) was for the first time involved in the exercises (Orsha district, Vitsebsk region).
  • Flights of A-50U AEW&C aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces and MiG-31K fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces were recorded at Machulishchy airfield.
  • Parachute and non-parachute landing of units of the Special Operations Forces from Mi-8MTV-5 helicopters was performed at the Brestski training ground.

Rail activity

There was almost no rail activity recorded.

Movements by road

No large columns with military vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces or Belarusian Armed Forces were recorded. Small columns and single vehicles were recorded in Minsk, Vitsebsk, Mazyr and near Luninets.
