The editors of motolko.help got a document «On Limiting Hunting» signed by Anatoli Levonyuk, the general director of the Brest State Production Forestry Association (GPLHO).

It says that hunting with firearms is prohibited in the Brest region for two weeks from February 14 to 28. The document is said to have been sent to all forest hunting farms. The reason for this decision is said to be: «Ensuring the security of society and the state, neutralization of threats to the rights and freedoms of the individual, as well as to the constitutional order of the Republic of Belarus.»
It is notable that exactly on these dates, on February 27 to be exact, Belarus is going to hold the so-called «referendum» on amendments to the Constitution.
