This was reported by the EU representatives to ICAO. In addition, it is reported that the report and decisions of the Council will be sent to the UN Secretary General.
ICAO Council also decided to report the violation of the Chicago Convention to all ICAO and to the next Assembly. The EU representative to ICAO writes that yesterday’s discussion led to condemnation of the actions of the government of Belarus in committing an act of unlawful interference with Ryanair 4978 flight.
