Aliaksandr Lukashenka sent congratulations to Nicolas Maduro on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. According to him, Minsk and Caracas were able to build strong and friendly ties, despite the distance.
«For a quarter of a century, our relations have reached the level of strategic partnership, the reliable foundation of which is the common views on a just world order, as well as the efforts and will of your predecessor Hugo Chavez, who was my close friend,» Lukashenka wrote.
He reaffirmed the desire to further strengthen political, trade and economic ties and wished Maduro success in his activities.
