PCR tests for COVID-19 are banned in laboratories of private medical centers from May 30

This decision was made by the Ministry of Health.

«In order to optimize laboratory PCR-studies, centralization of observation of patients at the outpatient stage, all PCR-studies for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) are canceled in laboratories of non-governmental health organizations,» the Ministry said.

Starting from May 30, all PCR-tests in the laboratories of non-state health organizations – Gravitadiagnostik, Synevo, Independent Laboratory Invitro, Synlab-EML, LODE, Medical Center Polymed, subsidiary of trading network PRODMIR, and Mersi Clinic – are cancelled.

PCR testing, including for travel abroad, can be done in 53 state medical institutions. You can see their list on the website of the Ministry of Health.
