The Prosecutor’s Office of Belarus demanded to remove «extremist books» from the websites kufar.by, OZON, and Bestbooks.by. It is unknown which books were removed from sale.
At the same time, the Belarusian Council for Culture received a list of «banned» authors, which was sent to school libraries. The list includes 33 authors, among them Alherd Bakharevich, Uladzimir Niakliayeu, Valentsin Akudovich, Ales Razanau, and other Belarusian writers.
