Аператыўная зводка ад Гаюна за 16 красавіка аб ваеннай актыўнасці на тэрыторыі Беларусі
Belarusian Hajun Project published a situation report on military activity on the territory of Belarus as of 07:00 April 17.
Russian Armed Forces columns continue to move through the territory of Belarus (1, 2, 3). The columns mostly consist of Ural and KamAZ trucks, as well as fuel trucks.
The columns were moving along the following routes: Kalinkavichy-Babruisk, Zhlobin-Svetlahorsk, Gomel-Rechitsa, Mazyr-Yelsk, Mikashevichy-Zhytkavichy-Kalinkavichy, Zhlobin-Gomel, Khoiniki-Rechitsa, Lelchitsy-Mazyr. A gradual decrease in the movement of columns can be observed.
There was insignificant flight activity at military airfields of Belarus. For example, a fighter (most likely a training aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force) took off from Lida. At least three IL-76 transport aircraft of the Russian Air Force arrived in Baranavichy.
Activity of the Russian Armed Forces on the railroad was recorded:
- Movements: Gomel-Nechetny – Gomel-Passenger, Kalinkavichy – Gomel (was spotted earlier at Kozenki railway station, then went to Navabelitsa station), Minsk – Zhdanovichy.
- The loading of equipment was observed at the railway station in Yelsk (military equipment is actively being brought to the station – here and here).
- Loaded trains, as well as trains with empty platforms, were seen at the railway stations: Gomel-North and Khoiniki.
On April 8, 2022, a Tochka-U missile attack was carried out on the railway station in Kramatorsk (the city is under Ukrainian control). The Russian side, denying responsibility for the missile strike, stated that Tochka-U are not used by the Russian Armed Forces, more modern Iskander replaced them. Belarusian Hajun Project presents evidence of Russia’s use of the Tochka-U missile system. From the published radio interception we can learn that on March 18, 2022, An-124 transport aircraft of the Russian Air Force delivered three Tochka-U missile launchers to the airfield in Machulishchy.
Minor movements of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Belarus were spotted. For example, a small column was seen moving along the Mazyr-Yelsk route.
