This was reported by the Korean Yonhap news agency, citing the South Korean Ministry of Commerce. Thus, the list of goods subject to the ban on exports to Belarus and Russia will consist of 798 items.

We recall that back in February, the South Korean government announced the expansion of export restrictions. Already then it became known that the ban on exports to Belarus would apply to:

  • oil and gas processing equipment;
  •  machines;
  •  bearings and heat exchangers;
  •  quantum computers;
  •  cars worth more than $50,000;
  •  steel products (including stainless steel);
  •  certain chemicals such as toluene.

Today’s notice is nothing more than the announcement of the start of the ban, which begins on April 28.
