The Belarusian Sports Solidarity Foundation reports that today Vladimir Bazanov , the head of the BFF, and his wife were deported from the Czech Republic.

Yesterday, the couple were detained by the police of the Moravian-Silesian region. Initially, they were suspected of violating the entry into the country and violating the current protective measures defined by the Ministry of Health. Today it became known that a sports functionary was deported because of the «violation of anti-epidemic measures.»

We remind that Vladimir Bazanov, a supporter of Alexander Lukashenka, came to the Czech Republic for the match of the women’s football team. However, the match was postponed due to the fact that at least three Belarusian athletes tested positive for COVID-19.
