Lukashenko signed a decree, which prohibits to import, store, use and manufacture drones.

It’s reported that the import, use and even storage of UAVs will be allowed only to organizations and entrepreneurs for entrepreneurial and professional activities. At the same time, they will need to receive authorization from the Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport for import.

The ban on import, use and manufacture of UAVs will come into force after the official publication, while the ban on storage and distribution – in 6 months.

It’s said that during these 6 months, after the official publication, individuals will have to sell/give their UAVs to organizations, entrepreneurs, or “hand them over for storage to an authorized organization determined by the government.”

We recall that in February 2023, the A-50 AEW&C aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces was damaged by drones as a result of an operation by BYPOL.
