GUBOPiK detained a 31-year-old software engineer from the Pukhovichi district, who is the developer of the BelScan application, created in order to motivate customers to refuse buying goods of some manufacturers, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The telegram-channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs published a «penitential» video with a man, in which he says that he participated in protest marches in the summer and autumn of 2020, and that he also developed the BelScan application, containing information about Belarusian manufacturers of goods and security forces.
The man is in the status of an accused in a previously initiated criminal case on the organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order.
