From August 22 to September 14, a training session with the territorial defense will be held in the Polatsk district. This conclusion can be drawn based on the analysis of the data of public procurement, which was conducted by the Polatsk District Executive Committee in July-August of this year.
For example, on August 4, a tender for bathing services for conscripts was published. Based on the terms of the tender, the contractor needs to provide bathing for at least 120 people. From this we can conclude that at least 120 reservists are to be drafted to the training session.
Other procurements were also made to hold the training session with the territorial defense. In total, the Polatsk District Executive Committee spent about 29,789 BYN ($9443) on the preparation and its conduct. In total, the district budget for 2023 plans to spend 125,900 BYN ($39,900) on national defense. This is 2.6 times more than in 2022.
The training session in the Polatsk district will be the first in Vitsiebsk region in 2023. In total, since the beginning of the year, training sessions with the territorial defense have been held in 8 districts of Minsk, Brest, Homiel and Hrodna regions. About 850 reservists were drafted for these training sessions.
