Eduard Lobau was killed in January this year near Vuhledar. He served in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, participated in the liberation of Kyiv region and Chernobyl.

Eduard Lobau was a former political prisoner. He was arrested together with Zmitser Dashkevich on December 18, 2010, before the so-called «presidential election» in Belarus. Later, judge Alyona Shilko sentenced Eduard to 4 years in prison in a fabricated case. The Young Front activist refused to write a petition for pardon and served the four-year sentence in one of the worst prisons in Belarus — a penal colony in Ivatsevichy called «Volchyi nory» [wolf holes].
