The Israeli publication Ynet reports that the court imposed a fine of $2500 on her. In addition, the publication writes that during the conversation of Israeli President Isaac Herzog with Lukashenka last Monday, Herzog called on him to intervene for the speedy release of Raiten-Stol.

Yair Lapid, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, wrote that Raiten-Stol was returning home with her brother, and Liberban posted a photo of Maya on her way home.

Israeli lawyer Maya Raiten-Stol was detained in early November at the Minsk airport for carrying 2.5 gram of marijuana. She presented customs officers with a medical permit for cannabis, but in Belarus this document has no legal force. The lawyer flew to Belarus to meet with her client, an Israeli businessman, but instead of meeting, until today she was in the pre-trial detention center №1 on Volodarskogo Street in Minsk.
