Israeli lawyer Maya Raiten-Stol was detained in early November at the Minsk airport for carrying 2.5 gram of marijuana. She presented customs officers with a medical permit for cannabis, but in Belarus this document has no legal force. The lawyer flew to Belarus to meet with her client, an Israeli businessman, but instead of meeting, until today she was in the pre-trial detention center №1 on Volodarskogo Street in Minsk.
