Soldiers of the 7th Engineering Regiment of the Northwest Operational Command have begun to install a crossing over the Berazina river.
It is reported that engineering reconnaissance of the area was conducted in advance, and an ice jam was removed with the help of PTS-2 tracked amphibious transport. Then the soldiers of the pontoon company installed a crossing over the Berazina river.
We remind that this morning, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported in its press release that the pontoon crossing will be installed over another river – Neman – as part of the inspection of combat readiness.

Another unit– the pontoon-bridge battalion of the 557th Engineering Brigade of the Western Operational Command – will build the pontoon across the Neman river. At the moment, they are still marching towards the location. Today, December 13, a column of military equipment of this brigade was spotted on the M6 highway moving towards Shchuchyn.
