The Telegram channel «Posmotri, Brekhnya?» reports that arrests of employees right at work have resumed since last week at the Academy of Science. According to preliminary information, at least three people have been arrested. It is known that arrests of employees began last week. According to sources, those arrested were members of a chat room of independent trade unions.
The Telegram channel «Free Trade Union» confirms the information about the arrests. The channel writes that on September 5, Aliaksandr Kandratsyuk, the junior scientific worker of the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Science of Belarus, was arrested. First, the Pershamaiski court sentenced him to 13 days of arrest. But even before the end of the sentence, Aliaksandr got to the detention center with article 130 part 1 of the Criminal Court.
On September 14, security forces came to the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Science of Belarus for two more employees. One of them, Yauhen Sysaliatsin, was taken to the detention center.
On September 15, security forces came to the institute again: one of the employees was taken away for a «talk», and then they filmed a «confession» video with him.
