This morning, Yevgeny Solntsev, the head of the so-called “government of the DNR”, arrived in Minsk. He published a photo taken near Minsk National Airport and wrote, “In the next few days, we will be working in the Republic of Belarus.”
It’s said that he, apparently together with his delegation, is going to visit a number of production facilities and discuss “with colleagues the prospects of cooperation.”
Solntsev is under sanctions of the EU, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, New Zealand, he’s also listed in the Myrotvorets base.
We recall that earlier, in July 2022 and April 2023, Denis Pushilin, the head of the so-called DNR, arrived in Belarus. During his first visit, he visited the Brest Fortress, accompanied by the secretary of the general council of the United Russia party, Andrei Turchak, and ambassador of Russia to Belarus Boris Gryzlov. During the second visit, he met with Lukashenko.
