It became known that in September 2022 Lukashenka’s enforcers arrested five residents of Minsk for hanging up Ukrainian and Belarusian [white-red-white] flags on one of the houses in Minsk.

The detainees are Dzianis Varozau, Viachaslau Pantsyushenka, Volha Tserakh, Uladzimir Lavor and Katsiaryna Zaretskaya. First they were accused of «hooliganism», but now they are charged under articles on «creating an extremist formation» (p.1, 3 of Art. 361-1) and «assistance to extremist activities» (p.2 of Art. 361-4). They face up to seven years in prison.
