The Belarusian military this year will travel 10 thousand kilometers to the East of Russia, repeating the path of their Russian colleagues during the inspection of the Union State’s rapid reaction forces. They will participate in the «Vostok 2022» exercise. This was announced today by Sergei Shoigu, the Minister of Defense of Russia.
«According to your decision, the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Belarus will participate in this exercise, a large group. Now they have to move there for 10 thousand km,» the Russian Minister said.
The «Vostok 2022» exercise is included in more than 20 joint military events of Belarus and Russia.
Russia transported a number of units from the Eastern Military District to Belarus as part of the current inspection. The test should end with the exercise «Union Resolve – 2022», which will be held on February 10-20.
