On December 18, on the website of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA), an electronic public discussion of the project to rename a park in the Dnieper district of Kyiv in honor of Kastus Kalinouski, the national hero of Belarus, has ended.

65 people voted “for”. Thus, the square at the intersection of Grodnenskaya and Almaatinskaya streets in Kyiv will have the name of Kastus Kalinouski. The project itself to rename the park was initiated with the support of the Free Belarus Center and implemented by a famous Gomel activist Valery Slepukhin.
