Belarus received 3.4 million doses of vaccine against coronavirus produced by Sinopharm from China in 2021. This is stated in the Foreign Ministry’s report on foreign policy for last year.
The 3.4 million doses include 1.4 million doses delivered as humanitarian aid, and 2 million doses purchased under commercial contracts. China also transferred 800,000 syringes to Belarus as aid.
In addition, Belarus received 100 thousand packages of Remdesivir within the export quota allocated by the Indian government. Belarus, in turn, provided humanitarian assistance in connection with the pandemic to Vietnam.
