The more freedom we have, around us, the more guarantees of justice there are, the more guarantees that our common enemy will pay fairly, that he will pay fairly for Bucha, for Katyn and Smolensk. He will pay for the rest of his life here and forever — before God,» Zelensky said.
Volodymyr Zelensky called on Poles to continue supporting Ukraine. He stressed that without independent Ukraine there will be no independent Poland and expressed confidence in the victory of his country.
«This regime, which went to war against us, will also fall. It brought graves to Ukraine to bring graves again to Poland and to all our brothers and sisters of free Europe. And we fight shoulder to shoulder. They brought deportations to Ukrainians to deport others again, whose freedom breathes on the lands that Russia is going to steal, and we defend ourselves shoulder to shoulder. The enemy wanted to bury our independence and dissolve our national cultures in the Russian space. But we stand firm, we, Ukrainians and Poles, together shoulder to shoulder, we will turn all this evil into an epitaph for the Russian imperialism. We and you, Poland, shoulder to shoulder, will establish freedom in Europe forever. Tyranny will lose in history if Moscow loses in Ukraine,» he said.
Zelensky urged not to stop in solidarity. According to him, if the battle requires artillery, it should be handed over, and if victory requires tanks, they should be heard on the border. The president of Ukraine also hinted that for Ukraine’s independence it needs to be given planes, including ones with the letter F. At the same time it is not necessary to look back at what Russia thinks.
President of Poland Andrzej Duda said that Putin will not succeed in dividing the allies.
«We have made many mistakes, for which we have paid a dramatically high price. Dividing forces and occupiers have often tried to separate us, to set us against each other on the principle of «divide and conquer.» Today they are also trying, scaring Poles with Ukrainians and Ukrainians with Poles. But I deeply believe and have no doubt that they will not succeed. So, together from this place, we are sending a clear signal to Moscow, to the Kremlin: you will not succeed! You will not be able to break us! You will not succeed in dividing us! Never again!» Andrzej Duda said.
He also stressed that Poland provides full support to Ukraine, including military support. Duda also called Zelensky a hero of the free world.
