International Federation of Film Producers association (FIAPF) suspended the accreditation of the film festival Listapad. It is reported by the Belarusian Rada of Culture in its Telegram channel.

«The amendments adopted by the new Directorate of Listapad may have implications for the ecosystems of other FIAPF-accredited festivals. We concluded that this violates some important principles of the FIAPF and decided to suspend the accreditation of Listapad in 2021», – said Luis Alberto Scalella, FIAPF President.

According to Taras Tarnalitsky, the film critic, the suspension of accreditation marginalizes the film festival in the eyes of the international film community, and the new directorate will need to make more efforts and use more funds for the further organization of the event.
