Airbus A321 of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran (reg. number EP-IGD) has just landed at Minsk National Airport.
According to our information, Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber should be on board the plane. He will meet with Lukashenka during his visit to Belarus.
In 2022, Reuters wrote that it was Mohammad Mokhber who agreed in Moscow on a deal to supply Russia with Iranian weapons, including surface-to-surface missiles and additional batches of attack UAVs.
We also recall that Lukashenko had already met with Mokhber during his visit to Tehran in March 2023.
On October 9, a propaganda newspaper of the Lukashenka regime published a column by an RT journalist, which said that “the victory of Palestine on the occupied territories is the victory of Moscow and Minsk.” And Iran, in turn, has been actively supporting Hamas’ actions in the region.
