Poland to start building a fence on the border with Belarus on January 25

Poland has completed preparatory work and will begin construction of a 5.5-meter fence on the border with Belarus on January 25, pap.pl reports. The fence with a length of 186 kilometers is planned to be built until June this year.

The work will be carried out by two companies — Budimex (105.5 km) and Unibep (80.7 km). The construction will be divided into four sections, the work on which will be carried out simultaneously. The cost of the work together with the materials is 1,233 billion zlotys (305,8 million dollars).
