The trial of Mikalai Dziadok, a political prisoner, began later than scheduled due to a false report about the mining of the Minsk City Court building, the Viasna human rights center writes. No explosive device was found. After a sapper check at around 10:30 a.m., people were let in.

Today, the trial of Mikalai Dziadok, a political prisoner, was to begin at the Minsk City Court. Prior to that, on July 6, a forensic psycholinguistic examination was appointed in his case, which took 4 months. On October 25, Mikalai Dziadok’s lawyer was disbarred.

The trial of Mikalai Dziadok, blogger and anarchist activist,  began on June 29. He was arrested a year ago, severely beaten and charged under three articles of the Criminal Code: art.342 («Organizing and preparation of acts that grossly violate public order, or taking an active part in same«), art.361 («Calls to perform acts detrimental to national of the Republic of Belarus«), art. 295-3 («Illegal activities involving objects whose damaging effects are based on the use of flammable substances»).
