Real disposable income in Belarus increased by 2% in 2021, the National Statistics Committee (Belstat) reports. We are talking about the inflation-adjusted increase in income.
In the total amount of money income, payroll occupied 65.1%, income from entrepreneurial and other income generating activities – 7.8%, pensions, benefits, scholarships and other transfers to the population – 22.7%, income from property and other income – 4.4%.
According to the prediction of socio-economic development for 2021, approved by Lukashenka’s decree, the real disposable income was to grow by 1.6%. The prediction for 2022 includes a 2% increase in personal income.
