The ban on flights over the southern part of Belarus was introduced on February 24, 2022, with the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Missiles against the territory of Ukraine were launched exactly from the south of Belarus. Since the beginning of the war, at least 721 missiles have been launched from the territory of Belarus on Ukrainian cities.

The last missile launch against Ukraine from Belarus’ airspace was recorded on October 6, 2022.

Thus, the threat of missile strikes against the territory of Ukraine from the airspace of Belarus remains for at least another three months.
