The trial in the case of Aliaksandr Vasilevich, the co-owner of the advertising agency Vondel/ Hepta and Mint Media (publications Kyky.org and The Village Belarus) was closed, Mediazona reports with reference to the listener in the courtroom. The session was closed at the request of the prosecutor.

The trial of Aliaksandr Vasilevich started on Monday, January 24. He is accused of tax evasion (Part 2 of Article 243 of the Criminal Code). He was detained in August 2020. First, Vasilevich was subjected to administrative arrest when he tried to file documents for a vouch for Viktar Babaryka, and some time after his release he was detained, but in a criminal case.
