The US State Department held a meeting with the Belarusian Sport Solidarity Foundation. According to the press service of the US Foreign Ministry, Uzra Zeya, Under Secretary of State for Civil Security, Democracy and Human Rights, held a meeting with six Belarusian athletes, including Krystsina Tsimanouskaya.
Zeya expressed admiration for the courage of Belarusian athletes who were subjected to repression for exercising their right to freedom of expression. She reiterated strong support for the democratic aspirations of the Belarusian people on the part of the United States, as well as a commitment to bring to justice those responsible for abuses against Belarusians.
