This was stated by Aleksandr Kosinets, Lukashenko’s aide. According to him, regional hospitals and republican scientific and practical centers will be involved in providing planned medical care to the population.

"Assistance in the field of oncology, cardiology, traumatology, neurology and neurosurgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, planned dentistry - this will be provided in full",– he said.

In addition, according to him, in Grodno and Minsk regions, the provision of planned healthcare was not stopped.

Two days ago, after a meeting on the epidemiological situation in the country, Lukashenko canceled a number of decisions of the Ministry of Health and the government taken in connection with the increase in the incidence of COVID-19. In particular, it was about the abolition of planned medical care.

The epidemiological situation in Belarus has deteriorated greatly in the last month. Among the sick as never before there are many serious patients, intensive care units are overcrowded. Doctors call the 4th wave the heaviest. Over the past day, 2,097 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Belarus, 17 patients have died. The number of active cases per day decreased by 235 people, but for the month increased from 10,335 to 23,148 patients. The growth is 123%.
