According to the information published on the website of Ukrzaliznycia, restrictions are imposed on imports and transit of products of Belaruskali and Belarusian Potash Company in the direction of Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Romania, the Baltic States and the CIS.

However, as Euroradio notes, the Ukrainian company Agrozkvit LLC, which is a major exporter of Belarusian potash fertilizers, is not subject to the ban. In December 2021, the company came under the U.S. sanctions for this.

In addition, it should be noted that it is not clear whether the ban affects the transit of potash fertilizers through the Mykolayiv Commercial Sea Port and the sea port in Odessa. The transit of potash, for example, to India may well go through Ukrainian seaports. In early February, Reuters quoted two Indian officials as saying that India plans to buy more than 1 million tons of potash from the regime in Belarus and the deal may take place in February 2022.
