Today at around 8:15-8:20, a group of 10 helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces took off from Machulishchy airfield:

  • 4 Mi-8 of the Russian Aerospace Forces;
  • 6 Mi-24 of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

The helicopters flew to the east/southeast and were later spotted over Mahiliou region, flying towards the border with Russia, which they later crossed. We note that most of them spent 209 days in Belarus (since January 8, 2023). According to our data, later all 10 helicopters landed at Seshcha airfield (Bryansk oblast, Russia).

Thus, the aviation group of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Belarus has significantly reduced this morning. We recall that there were at least 11 helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Belarus. Now there’s probably only one left.

In addition, during the stay in Belarus, this group has lost one of its helicopters – in June, a Mi-24 helicopter crashed near Ivatsevichy.

Thus, changes in the size of the Russian Aerospace Forces group in Belarus:

Left Belarus:

  • Helicopters — 10 pieces (Mi-8 and Mi-24);
  • Personnel — about 20 people (being clarified).
