We will never forget that day and this year. During this time, Belarusians inside the country and abroad have launched a real anti-war movement: rail partisans, collecting and sending information about the movements of enemy’s military equipment, informational work. Of course, Belarusian volunteers and fighters, the absolute majority of Belarusians sided with Ukraine.
In response to this, Lukashenka only continued and increased support for Putin and repression against Belarusians: thousands were arrested, hundreds were illegally sentenced to long terms even for comments on social networks, for solidarity.
National leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya called on Belarusians who were forced to leave the country after 2020 to join rallies and actions of solidarity with the people of Ukraine tomorrow, February 24.
«Tomorrow will be a year since the war started, which should not last a day. And Belarusians do not forget about it. In our country, where they sentence people for yellow and blue ribbons, start a criminal case for the song of the band «Okean Elzy», it is impossible to go out with the national flags of Ukraine and Belarus.
