Anna Plokhotniuk (Gordeyeva), a host of the regional state TV channel Belarus 4 Homiel, published photos on her Instagram with the diploma and gratitude she received from the Homiel KGB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Homiel Regional Executive Committee «for assistance». This was noted by Flagshtok publication.
The woman blurred part of the text on the awards in advance, but that doesn’t prevent us from seeing who exactly gave them to her.
Flagshtok noted that on May 5, there were arrests of journalists at Homiel TV. During the general meeting of the staff, four people were arrested. According to preliminary information, the reason for the arrests could have been the participation of journalists in a private chatroom. According to the sources of Flagshtok, «one of the members of the chatroom reported on it to the police officers.»
It is unknown whether the arrests and Anna’s receipt of the diplomas are connected. Nevertheless, Flagshtok writes that previously Plokhotniuk (Gordeyeva) worked as a forensic expert. Even before the information about the diplomas was published in the media, the propagandist deleted the photos from her Instagram page.
