Cargo plane An-12 crashed near Irkutsk, it was operated by the Belarusian airline Grodno. There were 7 people on board, two pilots died on the spot. Doctors tried to provide the survivors with all possible assistance, but according to the updated data of the Interfax source, the passengers also died. Three of them are citizens of Belarus.
«The liner disappeared from the radar at 19:45 local time, entering the second round. It collapsed near the village of Pivovariha and caught fire. The plane followed from Yakutsk to Irkutsk. Rescuers are already on the spot, eliminating the fire», — writes the Telegram channel Mash.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reports that the accident occurred during the approach of the aircraft to land 7 km from Irkutsk. At the moment, a search and rescue operation and the elimination of a fire at the scene of the accident are being carried out. The plane itself and the spilled fuel on an area of more than 300 sq.m are burning. At 20:51 Irkutsk time, open burning was eliminated.

Rosaviatsiya comments on the circumstances of the plane crash:
«When approaching the landing, the crew of the An-12BK aircraft reported on the need to leave for the second round. After that, communication with the aircraft was lost, the mark from the radar disappeared. According to preliminary data, there were seven people on board».
Mash reports that the plane was carrying consumer goods to Chukotka’s Keperveem airport, and also publishes a list of people who were on board at the time of the crash. Three of them are citizens of Belarus.
The publication Sputnik writes that the crashed plane was built more than 53 years ago.
The tail number of the crashed An-12 is EW-518TI, the telegram channel of the Belarusian aviation reports. The last photo of the aircraft was taken on November 1 of this year.
On October 30 at 18:00 the plane took off from Grodno.
