Transaviaexport Airlines, which came under sanctions, changed its name to TAE Avia OJSC.
The official document of the Unified State Register was published, which proves another attempt of Belarusian entities to circumvent the US and EU sanctions against the regime with the government’s help.

Transaviaexport airline was created based on equipment and infrastructure of transport aviation of the USSR Air Force, which remained in Belarus.

We remind that on December 2, 2021, the EU, the US, Canada, and the UK extended sanctions against the regime in Belarus. The sanctions affect officials, companies, enterprises, tour operators, and hotels that helped or organized the illegal crossing of the EU border through Belarus and thus participated in the instrumentalization of migration for political purposes. Transaviaexport Airlines is one of the companies that came under sanctions.
